The Armenian Relief Society is a philanthropic, non-religious, women NGO which aims to serve the preservation of national image and cultural identity of Armenians.

The following tasks are included in the ARS activity:

• To encourage the development of aspiration for charity and fellowship among Armenians. To create sources promoting the extension of the ARS philanthropic intentions.
• To make special allocations in order to obtain food, medicine and clothing in war, epidemic and natural disasters situations, to help the sick, poor and disabled, prisoners and exiles.
• To create health, food distribution and fellowship centers or render them financial assistance.
• To provide financial assistance the deserved students, especially those specializing in Armenian language and culture and fellowship.
• To promote health, educational and guardianship projects contributing the families of Armenian soldiers and attendants of our national verdict as well as the needy Armenians known for the services rendered to their nation, help their children to receive education.
• To cooperate with organizations seeking the same goals.
